Expansion of the gas transmission infrastructure from the Bulgarian-Turkish border to the Bulgarian-Serbian border
The "Expansion of the gas transmission infrastructure from the Bulgarian-Turkish border to the Bulgarian-Serbian border" project is part of the concept for the Balkan gas hub
The first stage of the Bulgartransgaz EAD’s project for expansion of the gas transmission infrastructure includes a transmission gas pipeline about 11 km long and a gas measuring station, located next to the Strandzha Compressor Station, which has been put into operation.
These are the first 11 kilometers built, part of the Balkan Stream project on the territory of Bulgaria. Bulgartransgaz has invested BGN 27.7 million for the construction of the Strandzha gas metering station, and BGN 47.9 million for the gas pipeline from the Bulgarian-Turkish border to the station.
